We are excited to have Coach Kyra Pelachik return for her 6th season at Laguna Beach VBC. Coach Kyra is entering her 11th season coaching club volleyball, having trained and coached teams at the 12's, 13's, 14's, 15's, and 17's age levels during that time. With a history specializing in the development of new players, Coach Kyra enjoys seeing the transformation of the girls as they grow throughout the season.

Coach Kyra earned a Bachelor's Degree in Kinesiology - Athletic Training from Cal State Fullerton. Following graduation from Cal State Fullerton, she interned at Northwestern University in Chicago IL where she worked with the football and softball teams in the sports medicine department. Upon returning from Chicago, Coach Kyra then devoted herself to 16 years with non-profit organizations, fundraising and planning special events. Currently she works in the marketing department of a tankless water heater company while pursuing her MBA in Marketing. In her free time Coach Kyra enjoys hiking, watching Steeler's football games, and taking her dog, Ben, for walks at the Dana Point Harbor.
